<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Clippers have burst back into the playoff scene. They're healthy, and just past the midpoint of the season, it looks silly for any of them to say they haven't been themselves because of their tough preseason trip to Russia that took place about four months ago. No Clipper, however, has yet to say these two simple words: "We're back!" Elton Brand, coach Mike Dunleavy and pretty much all of the Clippers are hardly satisfied with how the team has played. And while it's true that the Clippers have recovered from a slow start to reach the .500 mark (22-22) and are in contention for a playoff spot, they haven't shown the consistency they had a year ago, especially in the area that was their strength last season: defense. "Last year, I always took solace in knowing that we were in the top five in defense in the whole league, and we were getting it done," Dunleavy said. "If we had a bad game here or there, I wasn't really worried because I knew we'd bounce back because our defense said we'll bounce back. That foundation said you're a playoff team, you'll be there, you can win." </div> Source
One game over .500 right now, definately a better place to be than before. Brand has been killing since after the first month of the season too, he's scoring very efficiently.
They're under the .500 mark now again. Brand is FAR from the guy who he was last year. Did you guys know that Elton Brand is putting up his worst career number in rebounds per game !? And now ofcourse, you Clips fans loss Livingston.
