Somehow we find a way to win on the day of Paul's return. I feel bad for the Hornets. They have no draft pick to tank for and they are in a much more competitive conference. Anyway, we win 89 to 78. Iguodala had 22 pts, 9 rebs and 7 ast. Joe Smith finished with 12 pts and 12 rebs.

Oh yeah, we grabbed a season high 58 rebounds. New Orleans shot 39% so you see why. Dalembert had 15 and Hunter had 10.

Why couldn't we play like this in the beginning of the year? We'd be floating around that 8 seed and maybe sneak in to the 6-7 if the Iverson deal had gone down before.

Damn it! Chris Paul returned to the lineup, so the stage was set for us to lose. Instead, we come out and play great defense and manage to steal a victory. We've got to start stepping up. Teams like Boston are so horrible now, that if we're caught sleeping, we may very well end up with no Oden or Durant

Sarcasm aside, good effort for Iguodala and Miller for the win. Hopefully we tank enough to get a franchise potential rookie and still manage to keep Miller. Because honestly, I think we'll be a very solid albeit young team with him at the helm. He runs the team very nicely and hasn't been a nice difference maker for the team (I think he's the only one other than Iguodala). Miller's great at finding the open man, so with that in mind, next year we should be great on the break if we get either Oden or Durant. A lineup of Miller, Iguodala, Carney, Oden, and Dalembert would be sick.

I guess Oden will have to settle with going to the Celtics......

And they will still suck. Philadelphia has the pieces to help Oden (or Durant) lead a upcoming team right when they enter the league. Boston does not.

Boston has Pierce, Jefferson, West, Sczcerbiak, Gomes, and Green. Meanwhile, we've got Miller, Iguodala, Dalember, Hunter, Korver, and Carney. I'd say its pretty much even. Jefferson has been playing much more effective as compared to either of our big men while without injury, Sczcerbiak serves as a great shooter (sort of like Korver but with more veteranness). Carney has shown flashes, but not really enough to be considered a solid player yet.

Are you kidding me? Paul Pierce and Al Jefferson are better than anything Philly has to offer.

People we don't have to be the worst team in the league to get the top two picks. Remember there is this thing called the lottery, it's not like the NFL where the worst team gets the top draft pick.

In fact I think Chutney said that the 3rd worst team has gotten first pick the most.

Why strive for third place when we can be first?
