The 14 players selected -- seven each from the Eastern and Western Conferences -- were chosen by the 30 NBA head coaches, who were asked to vote for seven players in their respective conferences -- two guards, two forwards, one center and two players regardless of position. Honestly though, I think it benefited both teams. Caron Butler or Lamar Odom had to go. Personally, I would've preferred to keep Caron. I've always loved his game and Kobe and him just hit it off, especially towards the end of the season. I can see why they kept Odom, also. I don't think Laker fans are too upset by the deal. But if you're wondering, I know that Caron is light years ahead of Kwame.
I`m happy for Caron. Like Mamba said, he`s one of the great role players on the Wizards that has made them successful.
