DENVER (AP) - Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith were involved in a fender bender on their way to the Denver Nuggets shoot-around Friday morning, but neither was hurt and both will play Friday night.

They missed the shoot-around while taking care of paperwork following the mishap.

Team spokesman Eric Sebastian says Smith was driving one of Anthony's cars, but didn't have any other details.

The accident came a day after Anthony, the league's leading scorer, was snubbed from the Western Conference All-Star squad.

Allen Iverson, who was named to his eighth straight All-Star game, also missed the shoot-around.

He was traveling back to Denver from a family funeral.

This is the second time Melo's let someone drive his car and it gets involved in a driving incident. At least no one was hurt.
