Talk about the game here. It's on KCAL, but it's a tape delay

We're going to lose by close to 10. We're down by 9 with about 1:30 left. Disgusting effort from everybody but Smush, who had 20 points and 6 steals.

    Kobe and Lamar were terrible.

We even had a Shamu sighting for two minutes. I'd love to see him get an opportunity to play.

I'm really getting sick and tired of this team. Honestly. I don't understand how we can't win these games that we are supposed to win. At first, it was quite amusing how we would beat teams like San Antonio and Dallas, and then lose to teams like the Bucks and Bobcats. It was amusing at first, but now it's just gotten old, stupid, and repetitive. I have no idea wtf is wrong with this team. I have no idea why this team cannot ever seem to focus. We had a 9 point lead at the end of the 3rd, but managed to let the lead slip away in less then 2 minutes. This is getting to the point where I'm so sick and tired of this team, I don't even think I want to watch our next game. We are capable of playing better basketball, but until our players realize that they want to win, it won't happen.

Say all you want about how we're a young team and blah blah blah. But this team has made tons of the same mistakes over and over again, and it never seems like they will ever learn. I'm a Laker fan for life, but it's just come to the point where I'm just sick and tired of this team. I think I need a break..........

I guess Odom has yet to shake off the rust. Give him some time. I know he may look horrible out there now, but he needs more time on the court after missing the last 20 or so games

    hahaha, Lakers are a joke.

Kobe Chucker Bryant couldn't get into a groove like last game, which is okay. We all have off nights. I just wish he took it to the basket more.

Philip Jackson, bro, quit (#@*$&*( UP OUR WINS! These guys are in amazing shape, and are atheletes capable of playing back-to-back.

They're gonna get all of tomorrow off until Game day, so they would have had plenty of time to rest.

How do we go from 7 up to enter the fourth, to losing by double digits, that's disgusting.

Lamar will be fine, he's just a little rusty, he'll get back into his groove.

Awesome game by Smush, he is playing really well which I'm glad to see.

I'm with Brian, kinda getting a little sick of this time right now, not fair-weathering, but just a little annoyed losing these winnable games. I just don't get that excited for a game anymore, I don't know why.

smush needs to start playing bad again, because when he was we were winning games, or he just needs to pass the ball more, we need a knew point gaurd.

Why? Smush has been playing brilliant for us lately. What you're stating is hilarious, when Smush is playing horrid ball, we complain. Now that he's playing good ball, we complain?

The thing that has really hurt us bad is the re-entering of Lamar, it's thrown our chemistry off. He's still rusty, maybe we should try bringing him off the bench for right now?

I'm getting really sick of this team, as well. I hate losing to crappy teams, although I think Indy is going to be a good second half team after the trade they made so I'm not to sour about this loss, and winning against the great ones. We need some damn consistency, rebounding, and defense.

From what I saw from the Boston game, and from the statsheet from this game, Kobe has gone back to his "take a shot over 3 or four guys" routine again. In the Boston game, he took many of those shots, some didn't even hit the rim. He has to stop doing that.

^In the Boston game, Kobe shot 13/25 (over 50%) and 7/9 from three, what are you talking about>

You're putting this loss on Kobe? What about Lamar? Sasha? Bynum? This was just a horrible game, Smush was the only person who came to play. Radman gave a modest effort, as well.

Since Lamar has been back, we've won one game, it's disgusting. Phil threw him into the starting lineup too quick and it has thrown off our chemistry.

I'm just saying that it's not good for the team when Kobe makes those plays. If he would pass up the ball in those situations, I think the Lakers would do better. Sure, he has passed more this year than before, but right now we are losing. Not because of him, but because team chemistry is off balance.

The reason the Lakers lost last night was the second unit staring the 4th quarter. They gave up the 7 point lead and PJax said it best "they sucked!"

Something that's bothered me this season is PJax substitution patterns. He always benches the hot hand, last night it was Smush. In the 3rd quarter, Kobe and Smush were finally in rhythm, and had around 9 steals combined in that quarter. PJax should have had them start the 4th quarter, and then hope to expand the lead to 10 or 12 before bringing the scrubs in.
