<div class="quote_poster">Will637 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">You can say he was part of the reason the Wizards lost, but how do you explain the Lakers expanding their lead to double digits after Arenas sat out? In the first half, the game was neck to neck, even with Arenas jacking up shots then, but he still made the key plays and got the line to make all that up. It just wasn't his day, he was playing seriously coming into this game, and not goofy like he usually is, and the hype just got caught up with the Wizards.</div> However, had Arenas played a sensible game instead of jacking up shots, they could have been the team in the lead. I really don't think there is any point in replying anymore as I don't think you'll ever accept that Arenas was outplayed and he was a factor in the loss.

Maybe if Arenas would have played more team ball and looked to get others involved they would have been leading instead of close. Just because your close doesn't mean you shouldn't make adjustments. He got caught up in all the hype of a one-on-one battle with Kobe and his team suffered from it. He couldn't handle that load and it resulted in a lose.
