Yeah, me and my friend cracked up last night when he did that. Oh well, he played pretty good last night. Did anyone else notice that towards the end of the fourth quarter when we were making our comeback, all of our plays were running through Redick? We'd give him the ball out on the wing and he would look for his own shot or find an open teammate. We were definitely trying to get him the ball though which is good and it's great to see him getting minutes during critical stretches.
If J.J. Redick isn't scoring, he's useless. That was his biggest problem when he was drafted. I always thought he would be overrated on the next level because at 6'4" 190, he would sturggle to get his shots off over taller and much more athletic players. The Magic don't really have an offensive threat who receives double teamming, so Redick will be significantly less effective. And on the subject of the game, I was surprised how Dwight Howard got owned by Curry last night. Curry was just abusing him all game. Dwight's offensive game seems undeveloped. He scored most of his baskets off putbacks. Yesterday he did not really show any signs of an offensvie game; no hook shot, no baby jumper or anything. I know he has all the time in the world to develop a game on offense, but I was just surprised he was so raw, especially after being named to the all-star team.
