We need a defensive SG pretty badly, and there's a report that he is unhappy with his situation. I'm sure his contract is around 6-7 million if I remember right meaning we could throw in Giricek & Hoffa for Hughes & a filler. KOC should try to get him if the rumor is true [IMG]

We don't need more injury prone players. And someone bigger would be better. He's kinda skinny last time I checked... Hmm dunno...

6-7 million? I think the dude's gettin like 12 million a year, and that runs for 3 more seasons after this. I'm not sure why you would want him, he's not a stopper defensively, he takes chances which accounts for plenty of his steals, and is a decent off ball guy but he's not that great defensively as many regard him as. Also he's very injury prone and add to the fact that he's overpaid, I don't know why you would want him. Unless you trade AK for him and want to start Ronnie at the 3, I'm not sure.

According to HoopsHype his contract is:
    2006/07 - $13,363,012
    2007/08 - $12,000,084
    2008/09 - $12,827,676
    2009/10 - $13,655,268

I don't know why his contract decreases and then increases again though.

Yea, that's a lot of money for someone who can't finish a full season or shoot particularly well. And his defense is a little overrated. I'd think the Jazz would want to pass on him.

Larry Hughes is terrible, I laughed at Cleveland when they took him from Washington.

He's a gambler, like stated above, not a good defensive player. For every steal he gets, I'd venture to say that he gives up a good 3-5 baskets. As everyone knows, he can't stay healthy to save his life, when he sneezes he breaks blood vessels all over his face. The guy's shot is inconsistent, as well.

Why would you want him? I don't know. He's nice if you're giving up a scrub, but that's about it. I think Cleveland is regretting signing him to such a huge contract. As for Washington, they're living the high life with Caron.

I think he has what's referred to as a V-scale salary. It allows Cleveland to max out LeBron in 2007 and not pay luxury tax.
