^ That's exactly it. Sprite RISING STARS. Kind of hard for him to rise into a star when he sucks and plays for the Spurs. Too Raw. Would of loved to see him in the dunk contest though. I'll take Nate Robinson to win it this year, he'll attempt the off the glass, between the legs again and make it in only 32 tries.

^ a pretty start studded panel. I wish we had the same judges last year, I'm definetly sure they wouldn't have robbed Andre Iguodala of his trophy</div>Kobe and Iggy are friends or something. It wouldn't happened for sure if we'd had the same judges last year.

I wanted to see Gay in it, though. But I don't complain.

They can be very boring but they can also be very cool and exciting.
I believe that Tyrus & Green will be in the final, Green could put up something sick.

I'm still watching the dunk contest.

I think this could top last year, however, the '05 one could be relatively difficult to top. I was thoroughly impressed with that one (mainly because of the Smith's), but last year was nice too. I'm going for Tyrus (despite his recent comments), soley out of being a Bulls fan, however, I'm thinking it'll be Gerald taking it in the end.

He's been practicing the dunk routine for awhile and begged to be in it. I don't think he would do all of that if he wasn't going to put on a show. I think we all will be pleasantly surprised at what he has to offer. Also during the Team USA practices and tryouts the players all said that he was pretty impressive.

Honestly out of everyone in the dunk contest, I think it's more than likely going to be Dwight that does something that no one has seen before.

He is definitely going to kiss the rim at some point, which I don't think has been done in an nba slam dunk contest.

My money is on Dwight. Though, there are some interesting snubs in this one (Gay and Carney and James White).

My personal fav was 2000. That was just a sick tournament with incredible athletes.

I can't say James White is a snub. As impressive as he may be, he hasn't touched the court, so I don't see how he's deserving.

Dwight Howard and Gerald Green in the finals.

And being the homer that I am, I predict the winner will be Dwight "Kiss the Rim" Howard.

I really hope he does a dunk where he grabs a coin down from the top of the backboard or something. That would be absolutely sick.

Dwight Howard vs. Gerald Green final, after Tyrus snaps his ankle because of Karma. No, not really, but I do hope he sucks big time, worse than Chris Andersen and Nate Robinson.

Dwight for the win! Although, I think Gerald should have a cake walk.

I think this dunk contest will be better than the past 2. I am happy to see Dwight in it, because if he pulls of something nice-spectacular he can finally get some attention from the public. I find it sad that whenever I am talking basketball with my friends, they don't know/haven't heard of D12.

I got G. Green taking this one. As long as Nate doesn`t take it, I`ll be happy.

I think Howards gonna show us some pretty good dunks.

But I'm putting my money on the little guy, Robinson with the repeat.

It would suck if Nate won it again. He's not really capable of doing dunks we haven't already seen before.

I had the most random dream/nightmare where Carlos Delfino was named a replacement for Tyrus Thomas. I was actually pissed.
