    I'm pretty sure that there are many Kobe Bryants, too in USA.

    Is Kobe a casual name in USA? In our country it would be strange.

    Lol, my friend's parents got a new baby. And my friend said them different name-choices, like: Carmelo, Jermaine, Gerald etc. ;D Those names are VERY UNCOMMON in our country.

    It's not a common name in the US. Kobe is named after a style of beef from Japan "Kobe" beef. His dad liked the name of the steak he had when he visited Japan, and named Kobe after it.
