Andres Nocioni. Everytime I turn the Bulls on WGN on a Sat. night, he's doing something to help them win, anything; Loose ball? Blocked shot? Hit a 3? Go to the rack? Get a tough rebound?

Warriors need a glue guy now, with Baron, Harrington Monta and Biedrins in the mix. This guy would be perfect. Of course, he'd be perfect on the Spurs/Heat/Lakers, anywhere.

Is he a FA or a RFA?

    Pretty sure just FA.

Philsmith, I've been thinking the same thing for the last few days. I just took a look through the 07 FA list and I thought he'd be a great fit on the W's. The guy is tough as nails, very good defender, he can rebound very well and gets tough rebounds. I believe he even got a decent chunk of time at PF last year for the Bulls because of his rebounding ability and tremendous defensive versatility. He can score too, hes got a good mid-range shot, hes developed a very solid 3 point shot (38% on 3's on 4.1 attempts per game) and he can slash and score pretty well on the inside.

The MLE could be good enough to land him. Chicago has Deng, Tyrus Thomas, and Thabo Sefolosha at the 3/4 with a very high pick in the lotto coming up (I'd assume they'll take a PF). They aren't a team who will over pay for a guy they don't absolutely need, so assuming he does get some MLE type offers I don't see him in Chicago next season. I would love to get this guy though, he'd be a great 3/4 in our offense, he'd probably be more of a 4 with Nellie but he could do well there because hes so versatile defensively and he can rebound very well.

Dude -- Nocioni is awesome. He's an all around player who is super-scrappy. He plays much bigger than he is. He is everything Murphy isn't in terms of REALLY being hard-nosed and aggressive. Plus he can drain the three and defend very very well. Yep I'd go after him no question.

I like him, plus he's athletic and aggressive. He has a good midrange shot with an option to go out to three point land. He's good on stats and he's got intangibles.

Nocioni is a RFA according to realgm.com http://realgm.com/src_freeagents/2007/

Nocioni would be a nice addition, but I would try to go after a PF. Unfortuantely there doesn't seem to be many other FA's that seem very appealing including PF's. Maybe the Warriors will have interest in Magloire, Sweetney (probably doubtful), Olawakandi, Martynas Andriuskevicius (not sure if the Bulls are going to let him go), Varejao, Yaroslav Korolev, or Andre Blatche. There of course is also Darko Milicic. But I don't think the Warriors are going to have any cap space for FA's, especially if they add a pick or two to the cap.

I'd go after Varejao out of that list. Nothing else other than Nocioni. Man I'd love to see him here. There's got to be some other player like him in Europe.

Or maybe Latin American, such as Argentina where Manu and Nocioni are from. Maybe if Pietrus was from Argentina he would be a better player [IMG] The other Argentine I believe is Luis Scola, but he plays a different position and we would have to get his NBA rights from San Antonio along with a buyout with his current team in Spain. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luis_Scola (he has a nice pic on that page, haha. Gotta love Argentines playing basketball.

I'd like for Mullin to look into Blatche, Varejao, and Milicic but ultimately theres no way in hell we'd ever get them unless we S&T'd for them, and even so Milicic would be the only one we might realistically be able to get.

Save... every... single... penny... to... resign... Monta... and... Biedrins...

Seriously, I don't think there is any chance that we will sign any meaningful FA this offseason, which doesn't involve sign-and-trade...

I think we can re-sign AB if we get rid of Foyle's $8.9 M and $9.75 M payouts during the next two seasons somehow [IMG]. Monta could replace MP's salary slot.

Darko is a player on who there is a HUGE range of opinions...but if just one team gives up Nene,Tyson Chandler $$$..that's all it takes. Blatche has some neat tools but will be an RFA. Possible S+T. Gerald Wallace? Not gonna be a bargain but worth probing the possibilities.

Will we even have any cap space to go after a FA yet?
