Maybe it's not Brian Hill, maybe it's our PG's. Our PG's are absolutely horrible. Seriously Jameer can't do anything period and he's lost all confidence. Dwight's defender fell leaving Dwight all by himself 5 feet away from the basket and Arroyo tried to drive RIGHT INTO WHERE DWIGHT'S DEFENDER WAS LAYING. Screw our wing problems, PG is our biggest need right now. Play Diener every once and awhile, at least he can make his jumpers. They seriously look down to Dwight and he's open and then decide to pass it around the perimeter or shoot the J.
I do agree that we have some garbage point guards. Jameer has disapointed me a lot this season and he hasn't developed the way I thought he would. Carlos Arroyo is a shooting guard in a point guard's body and his shoot first mentality is not what this team needs. I don't have a problem with Diener, he has great instincts and is an awesome shooter. He seems like a great kid and has a lot of heart too which is good since you can't teach that. I think it's time to get a point guard who knows his role on this team rather than worrying about their own stats. It's about time we get a distributor, not a scorer.
I've said it once, and I'll say it again. We need to get rid of dumb and dumber(Arroyo and Dooling). Only way I would want Dooling to stay, is if he doesn't look for his own shot anymore. Plays more as a defensive specialist like Bogans. Arroyo....is Arroyo. Swiss cheese defense, poor shot selection, and an occasional "ooooo and ahhhhh" play followed up by a missed layup.
