Then he landed awkwardly in a mid-December game in Houston, sustained a sprained ligament in his knee and missed the next 21 games. So much for his All-Star chances. Now in his seventh season in the league, and never an All-Star, his name was not mentioned when the All-Star reserves were recently announced. "What are you going to do?" Odom said. "I was playing well before I was hurt." Odom still plans on going to Las Vegas for the unveiling of his new clothing line, Son of Man. The game is Feb. 18. And, of course, there's always next season. "I hope so," he said. "I'll be 28 years old. That's when guys hit their stride in professional sports."</div> More in link... http://www.latimes.com/sports/basketball/n...orts-nba-lakers
As long as Dirk, Brand, Garnett, Duncan, Marion, and Amare are in the west, Odom will never be an allstar.

Of course it's a fan vote, and I'm sure more people are aware of Marion then Odom.
