1- A.J Hawk LB Ohio State

One of the best Linebacker Prospects to come out in years, provides the Packers Defense with a true Identity.

    2- Leonard Pope TE Georgia

Somehow Leonard Pope slips into the 2nd round and right into the Packers hands, They were tempted to take freakish Vernon Davis in the 1st round but decided to pass and are ecstatic when pope drops to them here.

3- Martin Nance WR Miami OH

Perfect along with Pope for the new WCO Variation the Packers are installing which requires big possesion receivers.

4- Will Blackmon CB Boston College

Very Physcial and big, would fit well into current defense, could also be used as a Wideout.

    5- Mark Setterstrom OG Minnesota

Ran the Zoneblocking scheme well at minnesota should be able to run it in the pros, could compete for a starting spot.

    5b- Jeremy Mincey DE Florida

Classic High Motor/Character guy, fits the bill of the new players that McCarthy wants, Called "Packer People".

    7- Brad Smith QB/WR/RB Missouri

Iv'e been infatuated with this guy since the end of the NCAA season, Could be the next Randle EL type player.

Then again he might not. My $ is on the latter.

It's in the 7th so it's ok to take a risk like it there though, I don't know why but I just really like him!

True. It is in the 7th. I shouldn't complain as I feel the same about Reggie McNeal as you do about Smith.

I like Brad Smith. He's the closes thing to Randel El in this Draft. Problem though is he wants to play QB in the NFL.

TT did say he'd take a QB in this Draft in all likely hood. So don't be shocked if you see one in round 4 or 5.

Good Draft though. I'd like that. Not sure if Pope would be our pick in round 2. We're thinking Davis because he's a one of a kind prospect. Pope isn't.
