Heard this on the radio on the way into work. Apparently, Corey Maggette criticized coach Dunleavy after the Knicks loss last night. Maggette only played 17 minutes in the loss and was clearly frustrated with his role on the team. I'm paraphrasing, but essentially Maggette said, "I've been working my butt off for this team and I still don't know what I else I can do to get consistent playing time." <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Feb 7 - Corey Maggette sat dejected in his locker room cubicle afterward having scored four points in 17 minutes. Maggette had just three field-goal attempts, no rebounds, and during crunch time watched from the bench as journeyman Doug Christie, signed a week ago to a 10-day contract, played instead of him. "It's just more of Mike Dunleavy's (expletive) again," Maggette said. "It's totally unbelievable that I couldn't help this team tonight. Tell me something. He isn't listening to (Donald) Sterling. If he listened to him, I'd be playing. It's crazy. I really felt we were (beyond) this. I guess not because here we go, again. I'm a yo-yo man. Give me an excuse. Give me something. Just tell me something. I'm a grown man. I can take it. It's crazy." </div> Source EDIT: Found the actual story and quotes. Interesting to hear Maggette mention Dunleavy and Sterling aren't on the same page, especially since Dunleavy hasn't been extended yet.

What's ironic is Dunleavy pushed the Clippers to re-sign Maggette when he first came onboard. At this point Maggette probably won't make it past the Feb. 22nd trade deadline in a Clipper uniform.
That's really pathetic, the man should be rewarded for his work. Same situation going on in Chicago right now actually.
Yeah, it's pretty much a wrap for him. I guess this made it "official". What kind of price tag do you think he will come at? I think a pretty low one.
