<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Andre Iguodala scored 27 points and Andre Miller had 13 to lead the suddenly surging Philadelphia 76ers to a 92-83 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night. Gerald Wallace and Emeka Okafor each scored 16 points for the Bobcats. Charlotte (18-31) now has only two fewer losses than the Eastern Conference rival Sixers (17-33). Turns out, the Sixers kept the right A.I. as they build for the future. The Sixers are a more unselfish, exciting team and, most important, have been winning since cutting ties with Allen Iverson and Chris Webber. Iguodala has been the biggest beneficiary of all the moves. Nothing more than a nice complementary player known best for his flashy dunks, Iguodala has blossomed over the last month. He's scored 22 or more points in five of the last six games, and set a career high in points twice over the last two months. Oh, and he can still dunk. His right-handed reverse slam late in the third left the fans in the minuscule crowd with their mouth's agape and stretched the Sixers lead to 71-53. That should have been enough to finish off the Bobcats. But the Sixers' last two games were decided by a combined three points, and they nearly blew this one after building an 18-point lead. Walter Herrmann hit a jumper late in the fourth that pulled the Bobcats within 10, then sank two free throws with 1:20 remaining that cut it 89-80. Primoz Brezec sank a 3 from the corner that trimmed the lead to 89-83, while the Sixers went the final 6:57 of the game without a field goal. Still, the rally wasn't enough for Charlotte. The Sixers sealed it from the free throw line. </div> Link Only positive thing from this game was Andre Iguodala's offense. It's good to see him finally step up and become an offensive weapon. All this winning though, is starting to get me worried. Dalembert has stepped up as of late, Andre Iguodala has been playing out of his mind, and Andre Miller is a great talent. Plus, we have one of the best three point shooters in the league, Kyle Korver. I'm starting to get a bit worried, especially since teams like Memphis and Boston keep on losing
Brian your hopes for the number one pick are really fading quick...the Sixers better stop this nonsense
We have 2 Andre's and they're both ironmen, they rarely miss games.(Iggy hasn't missed a single game yet in his career) If one of them goes down then we could write in some extra losses....anyone wanna kidnap one of them?
This is really not good, but HEY that's why they have a lottery. The perfect situation would be that Andre Iguodala finishes the year at this pace, we finish around 5th and still get the ping-pong ball to bounce our way (very possible). I'm sure the league would love to see Boston at #1 and the Sixers at #2 for the possible Oden-Durant rivalry.
