The turnovers play a big role, but its more about their defense, or the lack of defense. It's a shame that we can't stop anyone.
Down by 12? now what does phil need to do? keep his bench in or put kobe back in? i say go with the bench
Brian Cook is completely in Jackson dog house right now. He's pissed because he's now out of the lineup with Odom back and Radman playing well, and he finally boiled over. He threw his shooting shirt at Rambis and had to be separated and talked to several times.
I think alot of Kobe's turnovers this game have been fouls that weren't called... I've seen one or two strips, that it looked like he was clearly fouled, but wasn't called. I agree though Kobe isn't his usual self.

Unless the guy puts forth any effort on defense, I hope he stays in Phil Jackson's doghouse.
He means nothing to this team if Vladimir's game stays on...so far Vlad's done his job in burying Cook.
Exactly. In the beginning of the season, Radmanovic was really struggling. In the past couple of games, his shot has been coming along (although he's still not 100%). As I said before, Brian Cook and Vladimir Radmanovic are two completely similar players. And as I said before, I didn't see the need of extending Brian Cook for another 5 years. I'm just wondering though, does this mark the end of Brian Cook's career with the Lakers? I've never been a fan of Cookie and I probably never will. Hopefully we trade him away for some defensive minded players

I can't even remember the last time a Laker went off on their coach during a game. I'm sure he'll receive a fine and continue to watch instead of play in games. I don't what he's so upset about, the Pistons brough McDyess off the bench, so PJax had to matchup with Bynum instead. I didn't expect the Lakers to win this game. They needed Lamar at full strength or Luke available to attack that Piston zone. Pistons are just too, efficient to make all the mistakes the Lakers had tonight.
<div class="quote_poster">NTC187 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe! </div> Kobe sucks. Trade him for Greg Oden Anyways, yeah.......Kobe was horrible today. He was a walking turnover. I think he played dumber than Smush Parker and Lamar Odom combined today, which is pretty amazing. He always seems to struggle against Detriot

<div class="quote_poster">Omarion Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Did the Pistons play zone despite Phil Jackson's comments?</div> The Pistons switched it up between zone, matchup zone, and man to man. Flip kept changing it once the Lakers adjusted for a little bit or they made a run. Smart defense by the Pistons. Kobe was not his usual self, out of his 8(?) TO's I think only 2 of them were supposed to be fouls, but thats no excuse for his bad play. We need to play 10x harder tomorrow or else...I'm going streaking. (I really see no relevance to that statement, but maybe the motivation would be to not see me naked?)
Lmao, we made 17 turnovers (including Kobe's 8), Detroit made only 7. I'm pleased with Ronny. He played 25 minutes and got 13 points, 11 rebounds (6 OFFENSIVE, 5 defensive) and 2 blocks in that time. Nice job Ronny. Kobe, Lamar, Andrew -
In the post-game interview PJax said he told Brian Cook to sit back down, because Cook threw his warmups in PJax lap as he approached the scorer's table to check in. He said they talked about it after the game and Cook apologized.

Found It funny that Phil couldn't guarantee Webber minutes in L.A yet he goes and drops 18,11 and 4 on the Lakers.
