Raptors win! I would have cried if Kobe hit that shot, but we played good D and Bosh with the nice board.

When they wouldn't foul at the end..... man, I felt like I was dying. Hell of a win, though.

The Lakers blow it again. Kobe looked like he was playing basketball with disinterest until the fourth quarter. SMH @ him thinking he can still win it all after playing tired the first 3 quarters.

Where the hell was Vlad? Raps definitely deserved this one.

We defeinetly needed this win, seeing how tough our schedule is coming up. It could drop our record below 500 seeing the calibur teams we're playing. But at the way we're playing, and how even when we're having a crap game and can still gut out a victory, I feel we can hang with any team night in and night out.

It was a huge win, but honestly, why was TJ closing the game? Jose had it going and they take him out. TJ didn't do anything at all except miss that jump shot and feedin Mo for an open 3 (only positive).

Anyone notice how we went downhill right after the MVP chants?

I agree Jose really should've stayed in the game... the coaching decisions are questionable there. Maybe we're just trying to get TJ back into things?

Hopefully this pays off because right now Calderon is the better PG by far.

On the surface I would have said yes to this because I like Jose running the point more than TJ but in this case i'm not too sure. Calderon was playing well yes but throughout the game both our pg's struggled at times. My concern would have been Calderon would have run out of gas in those last couple of minutes and we would have seen a similar performance.

Calderon played well, but nowhere near the level of previous games so I can accept the TJ substitution.

It seems like rebounding really is our achilles heel. We were getting dominated on the boards and it kept the Lakers in it, when Kobe really wasn't being aggressive.

Honestly, the ending was just frustrating. They ran the exact same pick and roll sequence twice in a row and it led to consecutive 3 pointers. And then Mitchell called a timeout way too late, when we were only up by 3.

Players should be able to recognize those situations without the coach having to tell them about it.

I was shakin in my boots when they went on a 11-0 run. I think it all started with the Bargnani turnover during the MVP chants, not really Bosh's fault hes so good.

Yes, but usually when they aren't, it's the coach that needs to make the correction. We already got burned twice, things weren't clicking. Then we got burned on the same play again after we called the timeout, which was fustrating.

I'm not calling the coach out for the defensive miscues. I thought he was very late with the timeout. I mean, I see them score 5 straight points and I'd call a timeout to get the team refocused on defense. He just watched them hit 3 consecutive three pointers with the exact same play before he decided to step in and what was once an 11 pt. lead, was only down to 3.

Come on fellas, give Sam a break. Whats Sam gotta do just to get a little bit of credit. I mean, we won the game afterall.. who cares. He just simply outcoached the great Phil Jackson.
Come on guys, give sam a lil bit of credit, he has done a wonderful job the past 1.5months now. The team is winning games, wut else do you want. In a 48mins game, team is bound to make few mistakes down the stretch, as long as we end up with the W, that's all that really matters.

I agree with Boshbosh. It's not like the Lakers are a bad team in the first place. Normally our efficiency to defense is pretty good in the 4th quarter, but there were a few slip ups. Bottom line is that we won with a roster that does not look good on paper, so there. Kudos to Sam.

In addition, what's with all the Toronto Media in the past talking about when we win games that the teams that we beat are sub-par under 500 teams and that we should be blowing them out. Nothing satisfies the T dot when their main concern is Hockey. I'm totally sick of it. When the raptors beat bad teams we should have blown them out. When the raptors blow out bad teams, well, it's because they're bad, and when the raptors lose to good teams, it's the same old raptors. We tend to forget how far we've come from last year.

Sometimes I hate this hockey city.. ugghh!!!!

Bottom line is Leafs suck and Raptors rock!!!!!!!!

If the Leafs want to be a good team, they better hire Colangelo to scout.
