<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">AUBURN HILLS -- The Pistons believe they have a pretty good game plan when it comes to Kobe Bryant: zone. Not so fast, Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "Their zone is weak," he said. "That was probably the worst performance (Nov. 10) I've seen a Lakers team play in that building (Staples Center). We couldn't hit an outside shot. We had no direction. "It was just an early-season game that we did not play up to our potential." Lest you forget, Phil, the Pistons' zone limited Bryant to 19 points in the 97-83 victory. "The zone has been kicking our butts," Bryant said. "We worked on it a lot, how to attack it and stuff. "They played zone almost the whole game against us at Staples and really stymied us." Pistons coach Flip Saunders stands by his zone, which has been successful against other stars. Heat guard Dwyane Wade and Cavaliers forward LeBron James had 21 points each in recent losses to the Pistons. "I think what we've done a lot is we've changed our zones, we've run different things depending on what we're trying to accomplish and take away," Saunders said. "That's been one of the main reasons we use it to tweak the game to how we want it to be played."</div> Source
