Another late game because of the road trip, hopefully we get back on track and get a win. Gordon needs to get going.
That last shot by the put back dunk looked like goaltending, but didn't get another view because they didn't show a replay. High scoring first half, 64-61 with the Warriors in the lead. Foyle already has 3 offensive boards and that's what killed us in the 2nd from taking the lead. And 0-2 shooting technical free throws doesn't help.
Gordon can't make a free throw tonight. And then gets taken out for his 4th foul with 11:30 still remaining in the 3rd.
Good start Deng just hit a three unless they change it to a 2, 71-66 Bulls. Edit: Changed to a 2 pointer. 70-66.
Tyrus needs to stop jumping on D and then he just missed an easy layup that he could have dunked instead.
Kirk Hinrich hit a crazy shot at the end of the third, everything going our way right now. Tyrus Thomas is so raw offensively its ridiculous, he has some great moves but cant finish.
Gordon missed a wide open three, Ellis came the other way hit a jumper Warriors up one, Bulls missed another shot, Jackson got fouled on the next possession, 25 seconds left we down by three in OT.
We need the bench presence of Noce. The game was fantastic throughout in a high scoring affair, but in the end the Bulls should've held on for the win after the third.
<div class="quote_poster">23MJordan23 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">What in the he!! kind of shot was that...they should've tried to draw a foul.</div> That's what Gordon tried to do at the end of the 4th quarter and it didn't work, it was just a waste of a shot because he went into 3 guys and they usually don't call a foul at the end of a game to win it. And he just got stripped, should have just taken a jumper because they don't really call fouls to end the game unless it's really noticeable. We gave away another double digit lead in the 4th quarter, we should have won, but we just aren't good at keeping leads. We had 2 chances to win it, at the end of regulation and at the end of OT. Gordon got a good look, I have no idea how he didn't even get rim. We haven't been that great at the end of game situations this year, we haven't really had many clutch shots to tie or win the game that I can remember. Raptors are a half game within us, Bulls are in 5th place right now with the Pacers closing in.
I wouldn't worry about them making the Playoffs or clinching a good spot, they just can't perform well during Western road trips. We need Noce back on the bench for that extra energy. The Bulls do however, need a big man at the 4 that can score consistantly in order to help us get better on the road. The Gasol deal is looming ever closer to true consideration.
