I think it's cool seeing how much my rap preferences have changed through this forum. All the reccomendations and everything made me diversify. My old top 5:

I noticed that I liked a lot of the MCs that I grew up listening to a lot more than when I did when I was younger (see Andre 3000 and Ice Cube)

I like Kanye to, but just his music. The reason he gets alot of hate is his attitude of how hes the best, and how cocky he is.

Don't know what your talking about, Kanye is a good MC. He isn't anything amazing, but he comes up with creative lines and knows how to construct a hip hop track rather than just a beat and lyrics. Most of all he is different from your everyday rapper.

The rule of max 5 artists, but i changed it.

 

Kanye is sick.. I dont really care if I get bashed. He isn't one of those typical ''I'm a Gangster" type rappers, and he comes up with very creative lines and does alot of wordplay. He may have a cocky attitude, but I think that's what makes him different.
