The lakers next 6 games are NY CLE POR BOS @GS @UTAH These are all winnable games and the Lakers need to sweep this in order for them to get back on track for 50 wins
Winnable, yes.....but I'm kind of over the phase where I can say a "definite win" for this club. I just hope we atleast go 4-2 at the most, or 3-3 at the least.
Well we should win all 6, but I doubt it will happen. NY CLE POR BOS @GS @UTAH We'll win the one's in bold.
Hmmm,, why do I have this very weird feeling that the Boston Celtics will snap their 23 game (or so) losing streak against the Lakers.................
Losing to NY at home? Are you guys serious? If you forgot, Kobe Bryant didn't play the first game. We should blow NY out. NY CLE POR BOS @GS @UTAH
Portland and GS always seem to play us tough, those are two let down games for us, I think. We should beat the Cavs, Kobe's going to be pissed in that game...like he will be against NY. Then again, you can never be 100% sure with this team.
I predict the Lakers win 5 of those 6. This is a crucial stretch of games for this team, and the All-Star Break will benefit the Lakers. They're coming off a rough road trip, players have nagging injuries, and the energy level just hasn't been there consistently from game to game or half to half. Having 4 games at home should help this team build some momentum.
Baron Davis decided to opt for knee surgery, so he likely won't be back to face the Lakers. The Warriors have been hampered by injuries all season, so hopefully we can take that road game. Utah without Boozer also gives the Lakers a shot to win that game, and Luke should be back by then. I'm really optimistic about these next 6 games.
I really like our shot at winning 5 of the next 6, with the letdown coming on the road to either GS or Utah...not sure which one. I think we should sweep our 4 game homestand and hopefully regain some of that lost confidence in the process. My biggest worry, however, is against Boston. If they've lost 23 or so in a row by then, I really hope we don't play them down, like we have a tendency to do to opponents. By no means should we lose that game.
