<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Daniel Bullocks impressed NFL draft gurus Gil Brandt and Mel Kiper Jr. with strong practices leading to the Senior Bowl. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Bullocks capped the week with an eye-opening performance in the annual college all-star game, recovering two muffed punts -- one in the end zone for a touchdown, the other to set up a touchdown. He runs a 4.38 in the forty.</div>
Bullocks and Ernie Sims are just what Rod Marinelli needs to increase the speed on the Lions defense. Nice picks.

Lions have had a great draft. So have the Pack. Vikings made a horrible pick with Cook in my opinion especially with Spencer on the board. Bears have Manning who is nice but they need offensive help so I'm not sure about them to much.

I like them picking Bullocks. He was driving up draft boards.

I am very glad that the Lions didnt take another reciver. Ernie Sims was a great pick. With another corner today would help the secondary

That's the plan. Ernie Sims is our Derrick Brooks and Bullocks is our John Lynch. One piece at a time.

Can't say I can argue that. I thought the Lions had a great 1st day of the Draft. I really like the 3 guys they got. Sims, Bullocks, and the soon to be replacement for injury proned Kevin Jones, Brian Caulhon..

I thought the Lions and Packers really helped themselves a lot in the NFC North.

A lot of Lions fans were shocked and disapponited when Millen picked Calhoun. The word is Atose Pinner isn't happy with his role and the Lions are trying to trade him. Calhoun would also fit the slot position in the Mike Martz offense. He certainly was a workhorse withe the Badgers last year.

He's an Oak Creek alumni or a Choke Creek when it comes to football...

Sims will be wearing #50 ... the same as AJ Hawk. Which first round Middle Linebacker will make it to the Pro Bowl? Will he be the starter or Urlacker's back-up?

Speaking from experience, Cook is a mauler. He played C & OT at New Mexico.

He was IMO a bit of a reach in the 2nd. Eslinger should've gone ahead of him if we are just considering both as Centers.

What's Millen asking for? A pair of 1sts? ROFL.

Speaking of Badger running backs, the Lions also signed Fullback Matt Bernstein of the Badgers as a street free agent. I was hoping Green Bay would land him.

Bernstein fits their offense alot better than ours, he's more of a straight Mauler type not really the versatile guy that can catch and block like Willi. He'd be much better than Vonte Leach though!

Speaking of Forner Badgers, Who did Raiola sign with?

I think the Texans getting Daniels was a good move.
