I think Chris Paul will replace Steve Nash in the Skills Challenge and maybe either Ray Allen or Deron Williams will replace him in the ASG
randolph deserves it, but I doubt he gets in because chances are they'll replace him with another guard...
The West team needs to trade a guard from the East. AI might not play at the ASG either. Deron Williams or Okur need to get in for Nash though..
Deron Williams. They NEED to replace him with a PG because Parker would be th eonly PG left, and that would be awkward (if Ai drops out). Okur, Randolph, Brand and Ray Allen seem like the main options to replace AI.
since the West needs another Big man then i think Okur should replace AI and CP3 or Deron Williams for Nash
No one even mentioned Baron Davis? Stats wise hes better than Deron Williams, though Deron's team is much better. Probably doesn't matter since he already said he'd be staying in Oakland to rest and so he and his new teammates and guys coming off injury will get on the same page but he and Deron Williams should be the top 2 guys to replace Nash at PG.
Baron Davis averages like 3 more points and one more rebound than DWill. That's it. I think it speaks more that the Jazz are the 3rd best team in the NBA record wise, and have NO respresentative in the all star game, and that Golden State is the 5th worst team in the West.
Ray Allen, although playing on a crappy team, is having an amazing season; 27/4/4. Though I would put Deron ahead of him because of the lack of PG's (only Parker) and the fact the Jazz have no reps.
If Deron Williams doesn't make it, all hell is going to break loose. And I mean, not just me but the whole Utah fan base is going to flip. BTW--What's the latest on AI?
Definitely Ray Ray. He's a 6 time AS and in those years hasn't played this well. Just because a point guard is leaving the All-Star game doesn't mean YOU NEED a point guard to replace him. I'm pretty sure Kobe and T-Mac have shared the starting spots the last couple years. This isn't really organized basketball people.
