This time, he's just about on a million. He'll max out at around 1.5 million. You can't say Game has damaged his reputation, I mean he was ranked 8th amongst Forbes richest celebrities in 2006. Thats hardly "severely damaging" his reputation is it? Oh and as far as picking who he beefs with carefully, he went hard at Puffy around 5 months back until Puffy finally released Mase from his contract. Now going against someone who not only has alot of power in the industry but also who many believe as the person resposible for Tupacs death is not "picking carefully."
Who had the better diss in your guys' opinion so far? Invalid Video Link 50 Cent - Funeral Music Invalid Video Link Cam'Ron - Curtis
Both of them are horrible, but I like 50 better so I'm rolling with 50. I didn't like the way Cam started the whole thing in the first place, dude acts like a teenager.

You can go on youtube and find the phone interview with 50 and Cam with Cam yelling that stupid 'Cuuuurrrtiiis' thing at the end. BTW, round 1 goes to 50 IMO. Cam's song blew big time IMO.
I think Cam won this. For the most part 50 was just bigging himself up instead of attacking Cam. Talking about "I'm a boss, and I'm eating good, but I ain't chubby like Ricky Ross." And the best part of 50's video is seeing all of those girls -- that's it. To make matters worse 50 has the audacity to sing a hook when he can't sing at all. Cam managed to call him out for his snitching and even showed how he stole the name 50 Cent. The "Cuuurtis!" thing got annoying after a while, but he managed to get people from Queens to say "Cuuurtis!", so it was kind of creative. The intermission thing Cam had was better than 50's Paid in Full scene at the end. You also have to respect Cam's lyricism, which is by far better than 50's.

Even in "Why" before he was beefing with 50 he said "why I say the hottest ish but be sellin' the least", so 50 hasn't prevented him from selling. "Lean Back" was Fat Joe's last single until recently. His "Make It Rain" single is selling pretty well and is getting a lot of air play. Lean back had a catchy beat and a dance to it, so it garnered more success. Also because an artist doesn't have an equally successful follow up doesn't mean they fell off. Game's album isn't selling as much due to less promotion. His Black Wallstreet label doesn't have any prominent artists on it and definitely doesn't have as much publicity as G-Unit. Despite that, his latest album received better reviews and is more critically acclaimed than his first one. And finally, Nas never was a big seller. I'm not too sure but I think It Was Written was his best selling album just going double platinum, so 50 didn't do anything to his career. In fact, Nas had him tour and helped promote 50's career early on when they were both signed to Columbia. Is 2Pac a snitch? It depends on how you look at it, but maybe he can be considered a snitch. But he definitely had the lyrics, critical acclaim, and influence to back him up. 50 on his album revealed the names of multiple drug dealers in great detail that one song (note: "Prince and Righteous from Hillside with the mole on his nose.")

He could have gone platinum off of one single yet he failed to go gold. I wonder how many albums Fat Joe will sell this time? Ja Rule had something like 3 multi-platinum albums, selling 5-6 million copies each. After 50 dissed him, he went from barely platinum to gold. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">Also because an artist doesn't have an equally successful follow up doesn't mean they fell off. Game had singles that were topping the Billboard charts yet his album still sold 4 million less copies. It's pretty clear that even though he didn't have as much promotion, 50 still put a HUGE dent in his career. I mean look at Game, he's resorted to making diss songs towards Vida Guerra and he's calling out David Beckham and Triple H to wrestling matches and so forth. Instead of calling out drug dealers, Tupac called the people that he thought set him up and shot him. You can't say 50 is a snitch for calling out drug-dealers and then say Tupac is not a snitch for doing the exact same thing. I don't believe either are snitches. As far as the diss songs go, Camron definitley has a funnier diss but it's so childish and sounds like a nursery-rhyme or something.

and he has not killed game's carrer either. to me 50 should not be able to call out living legend like nas and i know for a fact 50 can't hang wit jadakiss

I like Cam's more. He actually attacked 50 while "Cuuuuurtisss" just rapped about how much of a "boss" he is. I find Cam's punchlines hilarious. (Not just this song but others as well)
