I didnt follow this closely, because i didnt watch much bball the last month or two, so why did he leave in the first place? All i knew was he left, but not what reason.
he said he wanted to come back 2 weeks after the surgery (he had hip and knee surgery, notorious), but his doctors wouldnt let him. they said 4-6 weeks. he picked 4 b/c he wanted to come back as soon as he could. i can't understand why you're all mad at a guy for returning as soon as he could. i guarantee that if he wasnt about to return because he couldnt due to health reasons, then the heat began to lose again, and THEN he came back, you'd all be pissed off at him for returning to late or him trying to act like some hero coming in to save the day.
Yeah he definately wasn't healthy but maybe Riley somehow planned his return. We all know his ways of motivating his players maybe this was one of them.
