What Antivirus Do You Use?

i was forced to reformat my computer due to some problems and so i'm on the lookout for the best antivirus possible. What do you fellas have? and where can i "find" these?

I don't use one but my brother has BitDefender and AVG on his.

BitDefender has an evaluation version available here, and AVG has a free one here.

 

I have used Norton Antivirus, McAfee, AVG, and Prevx.

On one computer: nothing.
On the other computer: Prevx beta testing version (no longer available)

I've actually found prevx to be good, but maybe I think I've only had 1 virus affect my computer since I've had it. I installed it to get rid of a virus that was on my computer.

I'm not sure if Norton stops protecting the system after u stop paying, b/c I got a few viruses that Norton couldn't get rid of (not sure if it was when I was or wasn't paying).

I think I had AVG and it didn't do the job for me. I only get viruses like once every year and a half or 2 years.

 

I use one called avast. it updates automatically every time the computer reboots and if infected quarantines the file immedialty b4 it does any damage. I got it on bearshare

 

I use Lifestyles.

 

I use Norton Antivirus, and Ad-Aware SE Personal.

 

Ad-aware. It's free and good.

 

I also use Durex.

Avg.

 

McAfee. I havn't had a virus yet with this computer.

 

I use Avast. It seems to check/update the virus database every time I boot my PC. So I know its working.

Yeah I get that as well.

It's the only time I even notice it is on.

AVG. Worked so far for me. No longer free though so that sucks.
