JVG: "Tsakalidis someone Span can b**** to." Found this pretty amusing, leave it to Jeff Van Gundy to make light of any situation (and I have been a Spanoulis fan since we drafted him). I think this means one of two things, either Billy is gone. . . or JVG and Span-man are close enough to where JVG can motivate him that well. Most people won't think it's the latter, but I honestly do. If there is serious tension between JVG and Spanoulis, I don't think JVG would have made a comment like that. He happened to say it in a friendly, off the cuff, joking-around setting with the local media. It shouldn't be taken seriously.
Sooo fire JVG because he insulted a 2nd round pick who so far has done nothing in the league? If there was a rift between the two, I'll put money on Spanoulis being the one that gets the boot. Regardless, I think it was a joke.
