Well there wasn't a thread, but did anyone see it? Amazing. Darko should definitely start when Battie returns. The kid was doing insane. Nice game by Dwight as well. 20-16 should be the norm for that kid. Did anyone see how fluent our offense was when Diener was in? I'm starting to agree with Gators here, even Arroyo was looking more beneficial to the team than Nelson. I think Jameer being out was something to open our eyes. See what happens regardless when we feed our big men? God, it's like Brian Hill is getting a clue, and I'm happy. EDIT: Also did anyone hear that mind boggling stat? We are 4-12(5-12 now) without Ariza. That's crazy, shows how much he means to this club.
Good to have a win before the All-Star break. Great games from our bigs tonight, Darko was INSANE - 21/8/4 with 2 blocks, and he was 9-9 for free throws too. I didn't see the game so I didn't get to see Diener in action. That is a crazy stat though, 5-12 without Ariza. I can't wait to see how we do when he comes back.
i cant wait for ariza comes back..he gonna be the player to get us over the hump. Im very impressed in darko which is now gonna be hard for us to trade him away because him and dwight are an amazing tandem when they are both on their A games
I didn't know that we're that poorly without Ariza. I'm glad that he'll come back soon so our bench can add some depth. I wouldn't mind the guy starting a few games for Turkoglu also. Hedo's been on a slump besides this game so Ariza should get the nod. Darko did really impressive for the Magic and I was shocked to see the stats. I didn't see the game but I'm glad Diener made an impact. Our PG situation is so out of wack right now because Arroyo and Nelson are so inconsistent. Something needs to be done in that department.
That is a very interesting stat and is the exact reason I don't want to trade Trevor Ariza. Vince Carter might have an exciting dunk every now and then but everything Trevor brings to the table contributes to wins which is more important to me than highlight reel plays. We were hot before Ariza got injured and now that he's out, we have slowly declined. Coincidence? I think not. Trevor is a vital part of this team. He can help on both ends of the floor and when he's out, it disrupts our team's chemistry as well. Hopefully he can return soon and hopefully Otis realizes how valuable he is and doesn't ship him away for some bitch with a large vertical.
