The draft is over for a few hours and already there is a new Trade rumor bouncing around. Jerry Porter has been said to be upset in Oakland and wants out, Some of the teams said to be interested are Philly, San Fran, Tampa Bay, and the Packers If this rumor is indeed true you think it'd be good move for the Packers to throw a few players Oaklands way and attain Jerry Porter? Also who could/would they send in the trade?
It would be good to have Jerry Porter, but I don't really see anyone on the Packers' roster that's both expendable and someone the Raiders would want. It would have to be a conditional pick based on how well he performs for Green Bay and I don't think Oakland would go for that. Where did you read/see/hear these rumors?
Not sure who we could give up. Maybe a 3rd next year or something like that. I wouldn't doubt maybe Ferguson and a 5th either. Edit: Would love to get him though.
A couple of unofficial Oakland Sites and reading in a few other NFL forum sites with "Insiders" Of course it's just a rumor but I thought it was an interesting one. Fergy in a pick would sound good to me, although Iv'e heard the new coaching staff are really high on him.
