    6 minutes left.

This is the most exciting Laker game in a while, definitely feels like a playoff game.

WHITE MAMBA playing a hell of a game.

LET'S GO BLACK & WHITE MAMBA!

    WE NEED THIS!

That discontinued dribble call on Kobe was BS

He never dribbled again, he picked up the ball and layed it up.

    Basket should have counted, damnit.

We basically lost this game because of a defensive rebound at the end of the game. That is three games in a row we couldn't get a board at the end of the game.

We've lost 11 of our last 15 games. All that matters is that we get into the playoffs though...

Again it's offensive rebounding issues and a little bit of gratuities from the refs to the Cavs.

Yes their experience helps a lot, but it's not like they can just turn it on in the playoffs. The team still needs to play well as a team. I can't figure this Laker team out at all...

i think these last few games they've lost will be the wake-up call they need

Well I said that because we have the skill to beat the Mavericks if we fell to the eighth spot (we have that "Wade" type player they had so much trouble guarding against in the Finals). I've seen good things out of the Lakers against the Spurs, we almost swept them this season (and they are old). Utah doesn't intimidate me; and PHX is always scary, but after last year we have more experience dealing with them.

I think we have a chance against the top teams if we are at full strength (I sound like a Rockets' fan). I agree with the wake up call comment.

Of course, I'm assuming we'll get out of this funk by the time the playoffs start or we are screwed.

I feel so bad for Kobe.

Guy gives his everything day-in-day-out and has just about nothing to show for it this season. Even after completely changing his game to accomodate his good for nothing teammates, he still doesn't have a reliable second option.

Disgusting end to the game. How the hell do you not get a freaking rebound? It's about the most fundamental thing in the sport. Just get two hands on the damn ball, it's not that hard. And then, for no apparent reason, Kobe jacks up a fadeaway trey...that one was a head scratcher. I realized he just drilled one, but they could have gotten a much better shot, even if a couple ticks were to have rattled off the clock. Not a good ending to the game for the Lakers, and quite frankly, this team has got some issues right now that really need to be addressed after the ASB. We've got to learn how to finish games, otherwise, we're going to keep losing. It's simple things that are killing us right now, and it continued tonight with the rebounding.

i know what you're saying but don't feel bad, he chose this situation. He knew what kind of team they would have. He could have gone to the Clippers and played with Elton Brand don't forget...

Don't worry, the Lakers are a solid team, they just needed to get hungry again. 5 losses in a row should do it.

    We're lacking 2 things:

    1) Fundamentals (ie rebounding)

    2) Passion/Heart (our players are so inanimate it's ridiculous)

<3 you all...I'm here to hug any Laker fans that need it lol

The crossing fingers icon after a statement like that is a little suspect to me...... [IMG]

Do you guys realize that this is the longest losing streak in Phil's career? This is not good. Changes must be made.

Not his longest in his career, the longest as a Laker.

However, I agree, changes must be made, but apart of me still wants Luke and Kwame to come back before we decide to do something.

With Chris, Kwame, and Luke coming back in March, I think we're gonna be pretty damn good.
