<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">As if a streak of six losses in nine games weren't bad enough for the Bulls as they limp into the All-Star break, the uncertain status of sixth man Andres Nocioni complicates matters. Sidelined by a strained right foot, Nocioni sat out the last six games -- five of them losses -- and there's some concern his absence could extend into the post-All-Star Game schedule. "Yes, I am worried," Nocioni conceded Thursday in reference to the condition known as plantar fasciitis. "I feel better, but I still have a little bit of pain and I haven't done too much. When I try to run and try to jump, it's a different kind of pain." When Nocioni says he's worried, it's not without reason. His pain threshold ranks among the highest on the team, if not the NBA. Nocioni has not played since Feb. 3, a 23-minute stint at Portland in a game in which he was largely ineffective (5 points, 3 rebounds). "I want to come back as soon as possible, but I want everything to be right," said Nocioni, who is averaging 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. "That is what the doctor wants and everybody wants. No reason to push him. Yeah we're slumping without him but it was a hard road trip. Also, the experience for the other guys will help us out in the long run. The injury couldn't have come at a better time with the all star break coming up except for the fact that afterwards we play ATL, CLE, WAS, DET, ORL. That scheduling sucks to have a key player out. Hopefully he's good to go for those very important games.
he should get a good rest cuz bulls are a late season type of team they always get hot at the end of the season so they can make a run at it later instead of further injuring nocioni
