Yeah, I was thinking the Warriors will get their third MVP from this game... (well if it wasn't for Chris Paul) Maybe if Monta wasn't the last one off the Sophmore's bench things would have been different, huh? haha oh well. I am just happy he played well, seemed to have some good fun, and most of all he didn't get injured! [IMG] haha good.

BTW I was really hoping that Ike would have played better this season and would have been in this game. But he just hasn't gotten it going yet for many different reasons I suppose. Then again, which player do you remove for Ike? I thought the Sophmores were going to get close to 200 points at one point, hah. Ok, well maybe not very close to 200 points but, yeah that wasn't much of a game. The refs were also strange. I don't like refs on national TV. For some reason they seem to suffer from something and call weird games. oh well.

Next up is the dunk contest. What excites you more, watching these contestants dunk or watching the great dunkers judge? lol. The 3 point contest should be interesting if Kapono is in it vs Dirk.

By the way, if Chris Paul didn't get injured earlier this season, I think he would have been in the game on Sunday easily. That guy is a good player - very good player. I will not be surprised if he leads the Hornets into the playoffs this season and maybe then becomes a wild card for the MVP award.

Cool. I like David Lee. I think he's way better than Troy Murphy. If we had that guy we might see some more wins and he's a better tweener than Harrington or Murphy IMO. He's probably on my list as the same level as having a Shane Battier or Andres Noccioni (not as much scoring of course, but great technical skills, and he is tenacious).

I wish Monta would have thrown down that last alley-oop right before the end of the game. That would have been a great video clip!

Does anyone know if a rookie team ever beat the sophmores?

    http://www.nba.com/history/allstar/rookie_...me_results.html

In 2002 Jason Richardson led the rookies to victory (the following year it was Arenas as a sophmore though). In 2000 Elton Brand lead the rookies to victory. I suppose 2000 was the first time that it was rookies vs. sophmores. Before that it was East vs. West. Before that it was White vs. Green. The year before that it was the Phenoms vs. Sensations.

Wow thanks! I guess I should be looking this stuff on my own, but thanks!

2000 must have been cool to watch:

Many of the group of (Brand, Francis, Baron, Odom, Wallyworld, Rip Hamilton, Andre Miller, Jason Terry, The Matrix, Corey Maggette, Ron Artest, Andre Kirilenko, James Posey, Kenny Thomas, Jeff Foster)

    vs.

Some of Bibby, Jamison, Vinsanity, Jason Williams, Dirk, Paul Pierce, Bonzi, Ricky Davis, etc.
