<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">With three days left to the trading deadline, there's still rumors about the Knicks' Nate Robinson and the Sonics. Robinson, who lost his Slam-Dunk title Saturday night to Gerald Green, is a Seattle native, former Washington Huskie and hugely popular. The rumor is Channing Frye and Robinson and another contract for Rashard Lewis. Frye, though is unlikely to be traded. The Post reported in December about Frye's interest from the Cavaliers.</div> http://www.nypost.com/seven/02192007/sport...marc_berman.htm I remember rumors like this last year too, but I'm unsure of the legitimacy of them. It seems possible since Seattle is losing and Lewis might want a change of scenery: to a young Knicks team who he has a chance to take them to the postseason. The only thing which worries me about him is if the Knicks acquire him and give up their young players, he has an opt out clause, so essentially we would could trade Frye, Nate, and a filler (probably Malik Rose) for basically nothing at the end of the season. Lewis would be just a half-season rental.
