Kidd talked Friday about being a Laker, saying "I thought about being No. 32 and taking [Magic Johnson's] spot, but unfortunately I didn't grow up to be 6-9." It all sounds good to Bryant. "If you have the opportunity to bring in a player like Jason Kidd, that's something you definitely have to look at," Bryant said. "I don't know how serious it is, but it's still exciting." </div> Source
How can you not be excited? Kidd is the type of player that can practically fit with any team, and only bring positive aspects to the game. Even at his current age, he will be able to take off some of the pressure that Kobe has. Quite honestly, maybe it would be a better fit that he has Kobe on the team instead of Vince.
