Will all the bashing going on, I thought it might be nice to actually look at the numbers Joey Harrington put up in Detroit the last 2 years....I preface this by mentioning that he put up these numbers in the worst orgination in professional sports:

    28 Games....56.5% comp....5068 yards....31 Tds....24 Int....

Zack, thats what you're bitching about? thats better production than half the starting quarterbacks in this league....and his numbers improved every year that he was the starter going in to training camp....the bottomline is that hes a talented kid that was making strides....hes more than worth the gamble of a 6th round pick, but if the lions insist, the Dolphins will pay nothing....nice doing business with you....

yeah man thats true his numbers arent bad but a team like the lions looks for instant gratification instead of waiting for results...thats why they have drafted 4 wrs in the first round for like the last four years...he has skill...

it sucks when ur stuck with the Lions and have Matt Millen as your GM personally i think that Joey will do much better wherever he goes after the Lions

If I could extrapolate JH's stats further, His QBR for the last 2 years is 75.3. Not great but serviceable.

For his career, Harrington is; 986/1802 54.7% 10242yds 60tds 62 ints which is a career QBR of 68.1. Again not great but doeable (spelling error/pun intended).

Saban wants Joey for a backup. He does not expect him to be a pro bowler. Nick has stared in his book that its all about process not results. If you have a great process you get great results.

Lastly, if Mularkey can work wonders w/ Maddox and Kordell then I think Joey will be fine.

The reason why Joey didnt live up to the hype is instead of drafting olineman to help Joey progress they drafted WRs

Joey needs to not worry about what is said off the field and worry about on the field happening. He also isn't that much of a leader from what I saw out of him. His numbers are ok but not astonishing. He'd be a good backup but he's not a starter. Miami is a good place for him. I think Millen should just get as much as he can and from the look it's an 07 6th round pick. Get something out of him rather than nothing in my opinioin. This just shows his stupidy as a GM.

With all due respect Beef, you have no idea what you're talking about. The "Princess" is like a scared rabbit. He constantly dumps off two yard throws on 3rd and long. He falls to his knees or slides far too soon. His footwork is terrible. In a word he's a BUST.

I'm not sure what the deal is, but Nick Saban seems to have some sort of fettish for Detroit Lions TRASH.

First Stockar McDougal and now "Princess" Harrington ... LMAO!!!

    Saban's a fricking idiot!

I think he realizes that no human could succeed within the worst orginazation in all of sports....further, he can take whomever he wants from Millen anytime he pleases and give him nothing in return....you dont even have to outsmart Matt Millen, you just have to wait for him to slay himself....I heard Saban's new offer to the Lions is that the Dolphins get Harrington and Saban agrees to A)not fleece the Lions any further for 1 month B)refrain from beating them by more than 35 on thansgiving and C)stop leaving bags of burning dog crap at his door....Millen will likely balk, since that ogre likes stomping out burning bags of crap....

btw Zack, if you are going to quote people, stop taking out sentences within the context of the quote or changing words....no one is fooled by it....
