The Nets reallys want Andrew Bynum as opposed to Kwame Brown but this leave us with no one in the middle other than Chris Mihm... and we would be bankinf our championship hope with the next prob three seasons... Andrew will be an all star in this league is he worth giving up for Jason Kidd?
Your sentence doesn't make sense. You say Nets want Bynum instead of (as apposed to) Kwame, but that'll leave us with Mihm. I'd rather keep Kwame, and let Mihm and Bynum go. Only if we get another play with Kidd back. Why people are so in love with Bynum and to consider him untouchable is beyond me. Great players are coming out of high school, college, and Europe every year, even if we get rid of Bynum, who knows what will come across our way in a few years. He's slow, unathletic, does not have a post presence, he does not have a mid range game, his rebounding skills are not THAT great for a 7 footer, and his defense is not close to Kwame's. I mean the only reason he's probably even a little good is because he's being coached by Kareem for over a year and a half. If he didn't have that coaching, he'd be way worse than he is now. Bynum is what you call "Weak Sauce". And I love people think in a couple years he's just going to be this completely different player and dominant etc. Shaq at his age was WAY MORE Dominant than Bynum ever was. Shaq wasn't slow or none of that crap when he was young, he was the way he was today minus the experience and extra weight. We'll see what happens, but I just think we need to stop this "Bynum is untouchable" crap.
I agreed. I like Kwame more than Andrew. With his size, Andrew should easily go to the basket and dunk/layup easily. Most of the time he goes soft and do some ugly hook shot. He is slow and weak IMO. He can't make a jumpshot like what Yao can do. He can't even dominate when he is defended by a player who is way smaller. Oh, don't compare him with Shaq. Not even close.

I think the problem with sending Bynum rather than Kwame to the nets is salary. If the Lakers send Bynum, not only will they be saddled with Kwame's somewhat nasty contract for the next couple years, they'd also likely have to pay luxury tax on Kidd's contract.
I think it will be a mistake to give up Kwame or Bynum. Kwame is the only reason why we took the Suns to game 7 last season. If Kwame does not come back to his form of last years playoffs, Lakers are done. The only reason why I would include Kwame in a trade is if Lakers know that he is gimpy after this injury. I would not trade because Bynum is only 19... let me say it again, he is 19!!! Bynum will be top 3 centers in the league within 2 years. He might not be Shaq or Kareem, but he will be somewhere around Yao. Look at how much he improved over last year physically and mentally. He will get quicker, stronger and smarter. Another huge reason why I would not trade him for Kidd is because I think we can get something better for him then Kidd… KG anyone? I would like to get Kidd but not at the expense of young strong big guys. I would give up anyone else (outside of Kobe), including Odom.

I don't think Bynum is that good. Like you said, he is 19. He's no KG or Kobe. Bynum hasn't showed anything or has given a hint of being better. Bynum is overrated. Maybe in 5 years or so. But 2 years is asking for too much. He may very well be another Kwame.
When D.howard come to NBA, we could see he is strong, he will be dominating the paint. WHen compare to Bynum, Bynum is way too soft. Being soft is ok when he got superb handling skill and shooting accuracy. He lacks all those. He can't even handle a double team. When another guy come over, he can't really dribble, post up and shoot. He will lose the ball. I see that happen very often.

The guy is only 19 years old, he was considered a project for most college teams before he entered the draft. The Lakers drafted him as a project, so for him to be playing the way he is now is above expectations. The guy has improved greatly from last season, so I don't see why he shouldn't do the same next season. Remember, Bynum is only 19 years old, so he still has tons of time to improve his weaknesses. As for Dwight Howard, well, Dwight was NBA ready when drafted, but Bynum wasn't. Again, the guy was considered to be a project by most college teams
