With Wade taken out of commission, McGrady should move into the top 6 for MVP consideration -- Nowitzki, Nash, Duncan, Kobe, and Arenas being the others. Right now, out of those 6, I'd place McGrady third.

Durvasa, is there a way for you to project TMac's stats if he were in a more offense-oriented system or if he dominated the ball more? cause he's looking mighty impressive.

I agree with where you have him at 3rd Durvasa. He's been unbelievable with Yao injured.

He dominates the ball quite a lot for us, actually. I don't know of a way to project what his numbers would like on another team, other than adjusting for the pace. Based on his history here, he seems like the kind of player who needs a lot of touches, and needs the ball in his hands a lot, to be really at his best. His efficiency goes down if he tries to play a more complimentary role. So, if he was playing with the Suns for instance, I don't think he'd be as good.

T-mac's been having a great season despite leading the Rockets without Yao on his side. He's been able to keep them 15 games above .500, he's averaging 24 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds and he's a definite candidate for MVP with Wade out of contention now.
