<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> “First of all I’d like to apologize to my teammates, coaches, Lakers management and Lakers fans for initially lying about the circumstances of the injury to my shoulder last weekend. I’d like to, however, come forward and set the record straight at this time. The truth is that I hurt myself in a fall while snowboarding. Being young and sometimes immature, I initially panicked and made up a false story about how I hurt myself. However, over the past few days my conscience has been bothering me terribly. I am not a dishonest person and could no longer live with this deception. Therefore, I came forward today and told the truth to the Lakers. It is just as important to me though, to be honest with Lakers fans and the public in general, therefore I am making this statement and apology. I can’t express enough how deeply sorry I am, not only for the activity that led to my injury, but also for the initial deception of my story. I hope for everyone’s understanding and forgiveness. I vow to work as hard as possible to rehabilitate my shoulder and rejoin my teammates as soon as possible and to help us become a team that Lakers fans can be proud of.”</div> Radman's Statement I guess PJax strapped him down and interogated him Jack Bauer style!
<div class="quote_poster">MrJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">What was his original story, he slipped on an ice cube or something?</div> Yeah his original story was he slipped on an ice patch, and had his hands in his pocket so he couldn't brace his fall. Everyone knew the Space Cadet was lying, way to get your career started with the Lakers.
Breaking News from the AP wire, Shape has been hired as Radmanovic's new snowboard instructor. Report says Phil Jackson requested the move personally
I don't have a problem with him snowboarding, just because he's a basketball player doesn't mean he can't have fun in his life. The thing that does bother me is that he had to lie.
Him having fun doesn't bother me. It was ASB and he wasn't at the festivities, so why not chill, just have fun and take time away from the game. However...telling the truth would have been a pleasant thing.
<div class="quote_poster">shapecity Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Radman's Statement I guess PJax strapped him down and interogated him Jack Bauer style!</div> LOL @ Jack Bauer style. I seriously would not doubt it, that's some funny sh!t man.
I'm surprised you guy's aren't more mad about this. I know these guys should be able to have fun but if you sign a 30 million dollar contract that prohibits you from doing things, you shouldn't do them. I wish they could void the contract and just cut this guy.
It just affected his carreer. Phil will definitely bench his ass for the rest of the season. How can he risk his carreer at snowboarding specillay if you know you could break your knees. What an idiot! I personally didn't like the guy ever since he joined the Lakers although at first I gave him a chance but now i hate the guy. BTW Memo to Mitch: STOP GETTING EX-CLIPPERS. Odom = Ex-Clippper = Radman = Ex-Clipper = Eventhough the Lakers won, how many points did Odom score? Assist? Rebounds? Horrible, the win overshadow his horrible play but after this season I will start the trade-odom movement.
Pablo, please spare us. Snowboarding isn't a career threatening activity. He was doing it for fun, which is perfectly acceptable. It was the ASW, plenty of players go out and vacation. Just because he's an NBA player doesn't mean he can't have fun. Also, you probably have the likelihood of ending your career while driving more so than snowboarding. It was a freak accident, so what? The expression goes like this, 'S*it Happens'. Another thing, Radman never really had a chance this year with a shooting hand that requires surgery. I'm hoping he gets that surgery now. I deleted your post because honestly, it made you look very childish. Please, refrain from posting something like that again.

First time I posted in a while... In his contract, it stated that he was not allowed to do activity that can cause injury. If the Lakers wanted to (which they didn't) they could void his contract and send him packing.

Yeah it’s true, they have the right to have fun but they are also professionals and have to take care of themselves especially during the season. Mamba, if you think my comments are childish then you need to delete every other comment on this forum because it’s funny when one makes a comment and some else rebuttals with comments like if they are facts and no one else its entitled to their opinion.
