Yeah it?s true, they have the right to have fun but they are also professionals and have to take care of themselves especially during the season. </div> The guy was only going snowboarding. Big deal. Like Mamba said, it was a freak injury. I would have absolutely no problem with Kobe going snowboarding. NBA players are human, they want to have fun too. The thing that bothers me is that he had to lie about it. Why not come out clean the first time? Or if you want to lie, you might as well make up a believable story, not some crap about you slipping on a sidewalk and having to be out for 8 weeks
You guys are more forgiving than me. Radman should not have been out their snowboarding when he can risk a serious injury. I don't think the Lakers should void his contract, but I hope they hand down a serious fine to him. Radman has a right to have fun, but in the process of having fun, he gets injured, then he has to face the consequences of his action. He knew the risks involved, because he tried lying about it afterwards. I'm actually more disturbed about Radman lying, than him snowboarding. You just signed a $30Million contract to play for the greatest franchise in the NBA. It's a once in the lifetime opportunity for someone to have the privelage of playing and getting paid millions. What he did was selfish and now his teammates, the organization, and the fans have to suffer from his questionable decisions.
