<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The All-Star break might have been just what the Chicago Bulls needed. After losing five of six going into last Sunday's showcase of stars, the Bulls will look for their third win in a row after the break Friday when they host the Washington Wizards. Chicago (31-25), though, will face a Washington (31-21) squad which has won three straight and is playing well on the road. The Bulls are 21-7 at the United Center, where they defeated the Wizards 112-94 on Dec. 2. Washington, which lost its first eight road games, has won four of its last five away from the Verizon Center and is 10-6 on the road since its early season slump. The Wizards, though, have lost their last five regular-season games at the United Center.</div> Link Gilbert Arenas has been phenomenal in his 2 games since the all star break, lol. Well, he's been averaging 40 points a game, but Deshawn Stevenson has really help pick up the offensive load that dropped when Jamison went down. He's had consecutive 20 point games and he's made some key plays the past 2 games to help seal away victories. Both teams are playing back-to-back nights, but with the Bulls being at home, I think I'll give them the edge.
This game is on down here unfortunately I won't be home to watch it live so hopefully I will be home to another Bulls win.
Good first half by the Bulls. Gilbert hasn't been shooting much. Did Nocioni's foot hurt after last game or something? Is that why he's in a boot?
Duhon just got thrown out of the game... he got there first, but I guess it's because he dove. But, the Wizards getting back in the game.
As much as I like the call, I thought it was a foul on Arenas. Duhon had the right to be as mad as he is right now.
The Bulls pulled away in the 4th. Played great defense and got some good fastbreak/transition breaks. Deng had a huge night with 32 points, 11 boards. Hinrich almost had a triple double with 20 points, 12 assists, and 8 boards. Gordon put up 18. Big Ben had 8 points, 12 boards, 5 blocks.
That 4th quarter was so bad, the Wizards have been struggling with valuing the ball the past 2 games and the Bulls have cashed in on the Wizards miscues.
I seen nothing wrong with Duhon's attempt to get the ball other then a foul at best as he did club into Arena's lower body. I don't see an ejection, that was a horrendous call by the refs. Superstar status quo in check right there. Was an alright game though, glad the boys picked up another win. I should add that Kirk Hinrich was two rebounds away from a triple-double. Oh and btw, Noce is out for at least a few more weeks. Possibly even until close to the end of the season. The injury is still severe enough to keep the tough Argentine out.
deng didnt miss a shot. good energy from chicago they are playing with passion! they turn it up a notch every year after the allstar break.
Yeah, the Bulls are playing with much heart now. If we beat Detroit, that will be a huge statement for us.
