How is going out with someone against religion? Premarital sex is against the religion but not dating (atleast as far as I know).

If you're religious, look stuff up for yourself. There are always people that will exploit those who want others to interpret things for them. And it doesn't mean anything, if you're living out someone elses philosophy. That's just from my personal experience.

Pre-marital sex is. But with brown people, it's less about religion when it comes to dating and more about fear and keeping your kids under your control.

lol it's not true, it's just frowned upon in the culture, which is kind of ridiculous. I can see why they frown upon sexual activity, but being with someone, kissing, isn't exactly that immoral.
There's a difference between culture and religion, but that's something that most people (especially in South Asia) don't seem to understand. Just because something is frowned upon in a culture, doesn't mean its a sin or outlawed by religion. The things that religions explicitly deny are usually much smaller.
It is true, because in Quran it says one thing leads to another. Going out with a girl is wrong, because it can easily lead to sex.... in Islam.

That's why you would just practive abstinence, but hey I don't know about the origins of Islam so I can't really say much of anything. I also don't think its fair for people to call it stupid, people have different cultural beliefs, I just let em be.

But for mainly Pakistani Muslims, that's how it is. I was over-exaggerating when I say parents whoop your ass, but your parents will get pissed and mad if they find out your dating a girl. Look, in Islam it is wrong to go out with a girl because it leads to sex and having sex before you get married is wrong. It is not stupid or wrong, but it's just that brown parents want you to be safe virgin till your married which is why they don't want you dating at a young age.
