    Lakers vs. Jazz

How about Smush!?!?!?! 5-5 from the field including 3-3 from 3 point land! Nice to see him accurate and aggressive sine Kobe is semi-sick. Go Lakers!

Kobe's going to the line for FT's 14, 15, and 16 and it's not even half time! He's getting some love tonight, I'm lovin' it!

Giricek is trying to get aggressive with Kobe lol. Kobe is just baiting him into fouling him and Giricek is getting so frustrated. It's hilarious. Kobe is about to shoot his 13, 14, and 15 free throws of the 2nd quarter and we're barely half way through it.

Yeah entertaining game........ if you call watching Kobe shooting freethrows the entire game entertaining. He practically got more freethrows himself than the entire Jazz team. Terrible officiating in the first half.

Didn't think Jazz would be able to take this without Deron Williams. And with Okur having the worst game of the season, it was hopeless. I don't know how the Jazz were even close.

Most of those calls were clean. Kobe was frustrating the Jazz defenders (mainly Giricek) and got them caught in the air.

Good game overall. The Jazz were missing Deron Williams, but still a good win. We are on a win streak!!!! lets go LAKERS!

Not really. This season, he has gotten a lot less calls, and you can see him whine about it every time there is a no-call (and I have to admit that many times, it's a no-call for a good reason).

Kobe had a pretty game in numbers. 35 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. But he shot with a terrible %. I was glad to see him getting 24 FT's and hitting 21 of them. Kobe still can get to the rim just like 'Bron and Wade.

Odom made a GREAT game. 19 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists. He just has skill to miss TD's. [IMG] He also shot with a good %. Nice game by Lamar.
Bynum failed totally this time. He got 2 points, 2 blocks and 4 rebounds with 33 minutes on the floor. :S

Lakers are getting into a rhythm ! Laker for life.

Solid win last night for the Lakers. I realize the Jazz were without Williams, but we didn't have a healthy Kobe on our side. Beyond that, it was in Utah, and I don't care how we got it, but I'll take any win on the road in the West.

The Jazz didn't lose because the Lakers got more calls, in fact, the Jazz were only whistled for two more fouls than the Lakers. The Jazz lost because they couldn't hit a shot. When you shoot 40% from the floor and miss only make 18/26 from the line, you're begging to lose the game. Blaming it on the refs is just the easy way out.

He hyper extended his elbow in the game, so he had to wear the sleeve to prevent his arm from tightening up.

Marbirie, I agree watching any player shoot 20+ free throws is disgusting basketball. I don't want the Lakers to win the game at the free throw line, the officials in the NBA are a joke.

In contrast to the officiating in the NCAA, Big 10 Conference, the officials allow a lot more physical play and don't always feel obligated to blow the whistle. There's a lot of no calls, which I prefer.

Sure Kobe did deserve to go to the line, but 24 times is absurd, unless a player is getting intentionally fouled.

It's great the Lakers won this game, but the officiating was horrible in this one.

Bynum didn't "totally fail" in this game, he played some good defense on Boozer. Once again, the problem was him getting great positioning and the guards not even looking to him. Ya know, it's going to be hard to re-sign him if we don't flippin' give him a shot. Feed the damn kid the ball, I'm sick of seeing Lamar, Smush, and Sasha look right at him with awesome position, and then swing it to the other side of the court.
