Close one, but I think we'll drop our second consecutive game for the first time in awhile. great game thread styll, probably because i have not been here in a long time, thats why it seems like and everyday game thread for these posters........anyways, tommorow should be a good game to watch, i expect my boi bargs to be the x-factor and player of the game, watch for that. obviously raps win
Raptors can steal this game.. Rockets don't have a player that can stop Bosh.. unless they put T-Mac or Battier on him.
Raptors need to respond after the drubbing the took in San Antonio. win or lose i would just like the raptors to show they can compete with the elite teams in the west, we no longer catch teams by surprise anymore. Because IMO they were thoroughly outclassed by the Spurs.
Battier is an awesome defender. His stats might not show it but in the game he's an excellent hustle defender. At 6'8 you can throw him on CB, I don't see why not? Bosh only has an couple inches on him. Too bad I won't get to watch the game tonight. Go Raps!

I'm hoping for a good bounce-back tonight after getting killed last game. I'll put Bargnani down as my x-factor to see if he can extend the defense and draw the bigs out to cover his shot.
Damn, I didn't expect Toronto to blow Houston out. Bargnani and Humphries were on fire tonight. I can't wait to see what this team can do in the playoffs.
Since Rockets got their ass kicked, and I'm mad. Anybody wanna have a sig-bet for the next time Rockets play Raptors?

In most cases I'd just like to come here, do my moderating job and post my opinions, but today, my fingers feeling kinda itchy. Make the bet as extreme as you want.
Man, what a game! Great performance after we got it handed to us by the Spurs. Everyone was fitting in nicely to the offense tonight. Dixon did a good job stepping in off the bench, but seems to show signs of being a bit of a chucker. Bargnani was unreal tonight. The shots this guy hits on a nightly basis are insane. I just don't understand how he shoots sometimes off balance, or leading with his non-shooting hand and then having to rotate sideways to get his shot off. He didn't get a lot of rebounds today but I think that's mainly because he was guarding guys at the 3 spot. He did do a good job of bodying Bonzi after he tried to take it straight at him after two possessions. It's surprising that he gets away with using the body so much, he usually gets the benefit of the doubt from the officials. Bosh may have not put up a huge amount of points but his game today was amazing. Pretty much all his assists resulted in easy baskets for guys like Rasho and Humphries. He struggled to get in a grove on offense but that's ok because he did other things to help us out. It was a great game that quietly amounted to a great performance. It was more TD than KG.
Good win. Nice statement game after the sh*t show in San Antonio the other night. When the raptors execute their offense and hit their shots ther're borderline unstoppable. Houston is the NBA leader in opponents FG% at (42%) tonight the raptors shot 57% (+15) and houston's opponents 3pt% is (35%) tonight the raptors shot (47%) (+12). Also Dixon looks like he could really contribute to this team, he played well tonight in extended minutes.
Great game every one played well... I still feel unsafe with TJ Ford though. His 2nd half performance was the only downside of the game, he kept the ball for too long, dribbled way too much and the ball movement and offense was stagnant for a period of time. Great win though, and what else can you say about Bargnani?! Humpty Dump was superb!
I liked what Humphries said after the game: "We got embarrassed in San Antonio and we wanted to do that to another team." I was hoping for a bounceback effort, but wasn't ready to expect a blowout. Very encouraging sign.
