With around @% games left more or less... do you think we could still reach 50 wins with the rate we are going? thoughts
I think it's possible. I see that 6-game losing streak as a motivational tool for someone like Phil Jackson and Kobe. Plus, when everyone gets back, i see them putting together a string of 4-5 game win streaks 9maybe even bigger).
I think we'll just about fall short. I think we'll end up up with about 47-48 wins. We need to win 17 from the next 24 games. It's going to be a tough ask. Half of the remaining games are away from home and we can only afford to lose 7. However, I won't totally rule it out as we had a really strong finish to the end of last season. If we can do the same, we can build up momentum and it'll role onto the playoffs.
I still think it's a very likely possibilty. We're getting Luke and Kwame back by sometime next week, possibly even Friday against Sacramento. Once they get back into the swing of things, we'll be 100% healthy pending nobody else gets injured. Like stated above, we finished strong last year. We're an even better team now, their is no reason why we can't finish strong this year. Any news on Pippen? Are we content with Shamu and McKie? Usually I know what's going on with these situations because of AM570, but they haven't said much. I really don't think any team in the league wants Pippen, to be honest. I'd be surprised if he actually does make a comeback.
I'm with you Laker_fan, I'm predicting around 48 wins for this team. I'd love for the team to exceed those expectations and move ahead of Houston and Utah in the standings, but we have a tough schedule the rest of the season.

I still agree with you that 47-48 wins is most likely what is going to happen, but I really like our odds here. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/matchups
why do u guys want to win so much whats the point? of getting 50 wins? when we can get durant from the draft why? i think all of you aren't dumb enough to think the lakers are going to win it all this year whats the point of losing in the1st round? at least we get to win by going into the lottery and getting durant and then getting way better and getting that white trash luke walton out of the lineup
It's possible. I think this team is a 50 win team. Before the season, I predicted we would win over 50 games. But, I never would have expected us to go through so many injuries. If we were relatively healthy this season, then yes, it's very possible. As of now, it's going to be a tough task, but it can still be done
I think it's still a possibilty. While we have a road-heavy schedule ahead of us, it's not like the competition is going to be overly stiff. I think going 17-7 to end out the season could happen. This team is hopefully starting to get it all together, and with Kwame and Luke returning, along with the recent strong play of Shamu and McKie, our team can only get better.
If everything remains the same in the Conference standings, we will play against the Spurs, right ? I believe that we can really beat TimmyD & Crew. But a 7-game series against the Jazz would obviously be better for us. Especially if all our mains guys stay healthy til' the postseason.
Not possible. I think max we can win is 47. Here is Lakers schedule. Let’s just count the W and not W/L since we will win some games we were supposed to lose and vise versa. We have 14 W’s…. so 33+14=47. And I was optimistic about giving W here.
