God damn, I can't believe it's already March, this year is flying. Anyways, here it is: <ul> [*]Fri 02 vs Sacramento [*]Sun 04 @ Phoenix [*]Tue 06 @ Minnesota [*]Wed 07 @ Milwaukee [*]Fri 09 @ Philadelphia [*]Sun 11 vs Dallas [*]Thu 15 @ Denver [*]Fri 16 vs Portland [*]Sun 18 vs Minnesota [*]Thu 22 @ Memphis [*]Fri 23 @ New Orleans [*]Sun 25 vs Golden State [*]Tue 27 vs Memphis [*]Fri 30 vs Houston[/list] Wins Sacramento, Minnesota (home), Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Dallas, Portland, Memphis (twice), Golden State, Houston Loses Minnesota (away), Denver, New Orleans, Phoenix I'm predicting a 10-4 record. I can also see us going 11-3 or 9-5.
That's a tough schedule. Most of those teams we can easily lose to due to Lakers underplaying sub-par teams. If Lakers play the same way they've been playing for the past 3 games, then I see no reason to we can't win at least 7-9 of those games.
* Fri 02 vs Sacramento * Sun 04 @ Phoenix * Tue 06 @ Minnesota * Wed 07 @ Milwaukee * Fri 09 @ Philadelphia * Sun 11 vs Dallas * Thu 15 @ Denver * Fri 16 vs Portland * Sun 18 vs Minnesota * Thu 22 @ Memphis * Fri 23 @ New Orleans * Sun 25 vs Golden State * Tue 27 vs Memphis * Fri 30 vs Houston I think we've got a great chance at 11-3. For some odd reason, I have a lot of confidence that we can beat the Suns. We did it earlier this season without Kobe and I think we can do it now. We're finally playing good basketball again, and if we can go into that game with a 4 win streak and have some momentum, we can pull off the upset. However, when I look at this schedule, I see A LOT of games we by no means should lose. We absolutely can not falter against teams like Portland, Philly, Memphis, Sac-town, and Milwaukee. We SHOULD win all those games. Despite that, those are the games that worry me the most, simply because we never show up against teams we should beat. We end up playing down our competition and the game ends up being a lot closer than what it should be.
The game @ Memphis will be hard. For like the past 4-5 years, the Lakers have a bad record at the FedEx Forum. Winning there will be historic.
After our embarrassing loss to them at Memphis earlier this year, I can't picture us going in there and not showing up again, but I do know it's possible.
vs Sacramento @ Phoenix @ Minnesota @ Milwaukee @ Philadelphia vs Dallas @ Denver vs Portland vs Minnesota @ Memphis @ New Orleans vs Golden State vs Memphis vs Houston 8-6 for the month of March. 41-31 record at the end of the month. BTW, 11-3? No way, that schedule is too tough to go 11-3. I say 10-4 at best.
