<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">As David Lee put it when reporters began ambling over to him yesterday, the Knicks have bigger fish to fry. Jamal Crawford's presumably season-ending injury was on everyone's mind. Still, Lee's status is of the utmost importance, and the Knicks are fried if they don't get him back soon. The power forward has been inactive for the past two games with a right ankle sprain, and it doesn't look good for tonight's game in Boston. "No, it still hurts," he said. "It's going to be a little while." Knicks coach/president Isiah Thomas said Lee didn't do anything at yesterday's practice, but he envisions him returning against Golden State on Friday. "We're going to need him healthy and live and vibrant," Thomas said. "If he has to miss one more game, so be it. But I don't see him missing more than one more game, but you never know with the ankles." Lee leads the team with 10.7 rebounds per game and was averaging 11.2 points per game. Even when he was healthy, Thomas had been starting Jerome James at power forward. Thomas noted he loved the second-year forward's energy off the bench and touted him for the Sixth Man of the Year award.</div> Source
