Would be tough to do without smashing your teeth on the rim.

He definatley wasnt robbed, even looking back at his dunks on that video, the first one was just lame, and the sticker dunk wasnt anything special at all, all the emphasis was on the placement of the sticker, not the dunk, and the dunk was just a simple one handed jam.

If they had of let him raise the ring to 12'6", then he probally would've deserved to make the finals, but on those dunks he did, he didnt deserve to make it.

The first one was basically the same dunk that the judges gave Gerald Green a 50 for, except Green jumped over a box.

On the sticker dunk, if he just ran up and dunked it, then that wouldn't be anything, but he had to catch the ball one handed and then throw it down while still twisting his body to put the sticker up there. Do you really think that Dwight's first dunk or Nate's 2nd dunk was better than that? Dwight should have at least got a couple of 10's and the rest 9's for a 47 or 48 or something and he would have advanced. Are you saying you think the 42 was deserving on the sticker dunk in comparison to all the other dunks?

Overall, i think the entire dunk contest sucked. Dwight did nothing special, robinson did nothing special, green did nothing special. It was just a bad contest and i wouldnt even be too proud about saying i won it this year.

The sticker dunk was a 46, at best. There wasn't anything special about it, NTC has explained why many times.

As the for the kiss the rim, that was lame. There are a handful of people who can do that in this league LeBron, VC (in his prime jumping days, at least) I'd guess that Josh Smith can do it. It was a rather boring dunk. Big men in the DC are boring, being 7'0 with a 7'1 wingspan doesn't help you at all.

So you are saying at best it was 1 point better than Nate's 2nd dunk?

Yeah. It wasn't great at all. Maybe if he brought the ball up that high, but he reached his off hand up there, so what? It's not his fault, the NBA should've let him raise the rim.

If you think the first one was lame I think you may need to watch the replay again.

Although Dwight is a big dude and 12'6 isn't that hard to reach for him, it was still better and more creative than Nate's dunk, which is the only reason he shoulda been in the finals.

But this is not like last year when judges were looking at each other, and then putting up scores and changing scores to help Nate Robinson win, so it's not that bad for Magic fans. They keep saying he got robbed when he didn't even make it to the finals.

And also, why is everybody getting mad at Mike when three judges have Dwight 8s?

Those are some pretty cool dunks. On the one where he hits his head, it looks like somebody is throwing the ball from behind the backboard and he's catching it in mid-air. That one was pretty impressive. I like the kiss the rim dunk too, it looks like he's just floating there when he kisses it.

I received the latest Sports Illustrated today and I was surprised to find this little section about Dwight's kiss the rim dunk. Here it is for those of you who don't get the magazine:

"Some dubious judging kept Dwight Howard out of the finals of the NBA slam dunk contest -- and deprived fans of seeing how the Magic big man would follow his sticker dunk. (He slapped a sticker of his face on the backboard 12'6" off the ground.) Well, wonder no more. Video of the dunks Howard planned for the finals, including one on which he kisses the rim is on www.YouTube.com (called Dwight Howard Kiss the Rim Dunk). The verdict: He would have won. Easily."

Wait, what? I thought it was interesting that they said Dwight's second round dunks would have won him the contest. I just wanted to share it with everyone.

This is a basketball website, you are in the Orlando Magic forum so why do you care where he get's his information (about Basketball) From? Anything that involves basketball and the Orlando Magic should be here no matter where it comes from, if people didn't post articles from other sites/mags this would be a pretty boring site IMO.

Perhaps you're not being serious, but it appears like you don't know what the word "plagiarize" means.
