<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Dwyane Wade's second opinion will be coming from one of the best in the business.

Orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews, who is based in Birmingham, Ala., will see Wade in Miami today to determine whether his options should remain the same.

Team doctors have told Wade he can either undergo season-ending surgery or choose several weeks of therapy to strengthen the muscles around his dislocated left shoulder and attempt a return late this season.

Wade is expected to make a decision soon after meeting with Andrews.

Wade was with the rest of the Heat players and coaches Tuesday for the team's visit to the White House, but returned to Miami and was not with the team for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Heat coach Pat Riley said having Wade around for one day was a temporary morale booster.

''I think there was a lot of chatter on the bus, and they were kidding him,'' Riley said. ``I think there's that part of the camaraderie, when a player goes down and misses some time, he sort of misses being with the guys. And, so, that's what this whole thing is about.''

However, Riley said, the team can't afford to spend its time anticipating Wade's decision.

''I think we've got to go ahead and play right now, whether he's going to make the decision to rehab and delay surgery or whatever, we have to play,'' he said. ``We know it's going to be an extended period of time anyway, without him. I think our players have gotten to that point already.''</div>

NBA and the media..it is ridiculous. Wade, get the surgery and stop wasting your time.

Seriously, Wade has been injured so many times this season. If Wade returns without getting this surgery, it is almost a guarantee that he'll make his shoulder get even worse.
