This game sees the 33-24 Cleveland Cavaliers take on the 48-9 Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center.
Cleveland Cavaliers C Zydrunas Ilgauskas PF Drew Gooden SF LeBron James SG Larry Hughes PG Daniel Gibson @ C Erick Dampier PF Dirk Nowitzki SF Josh Howard SG Devin Harris PG Jason Terry Dallas Mavericks
Prediction Since 2003, the Cavaliers and Mavericks have met just 6 times, with the Cavaliers winning 2 games compared to the 4 that their Dallas-based counterparts have won. The Cavs have averaged 97.8 points in these games, but the Mavs have averaged 103.7. LeBron James averages a very strong 30.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 6.2 assists in these 4 games. Due to a 12-16 road record this season for the Cavs, combined with an almost ridiculous 27-3 home record for the Mavs (along with a 13 game winning streak), I simply cannot see the Cavs winning this game. The Mavericks, I think, should win comfortably. 91-107
I'm usually critical of Lebron, but the flack he'sa getting for this game is undeserved. He did a helluva job keeping the Cavs in the game period.
